1. Role
As an Assistant Manager Legal, you will be responsible for providing legal research or initial legal advice as instructed, assisting Legal Manager with the follow-up and communication with the internal stakeholders of legal services and assistance provided by Legal department. Furthermore, you will provide written and oral consultation in legal matters.
For sure, managing and maintaining the systems of Legal is also a part of your job which includes contract management systems, legatrix, and other systems assigned by the company. Moreover, performing administrative duties in support of the Legal Department activities is also a part of your job.
The last but not least, you will participate in assisting with the review, enactment, and implementation of Policies and local work instructions as assigned by Legal Manager. In addition, you will provide training on Legal topics, monitor changes in law and regulations, and update to Legal team and/or all relevant personnel/departments on such changes.
2. Detail responsibilities
• To review, advise, draft all agreements and contracts between the company and vendors/customers
• To mandate and coordinate external law firms and monitor of litigation (to assist in the preparation of documents for court cases/ arbitrations, if any)
• To be in charge of any issues related to legal aspect and provide legal advice requested by Board of Directors and Head of Departments
• To amend the investment registration certificate, enterprise registration certificate according to the requirement of the Board of Directors
• To draft legal documents to the government and external parties.
Yêu Cầu Công Việc
- Education requirement: Graduated from University, majoring in Law who ideally will have experience on trading & logistic
- Lawyer practicing certificate will be required;
- At least 2-3 Years of Experience in legal practice, contract negotiation, review and drafting.
- Knowledge of Vietnamese regulations and legislation in economics, trading, labor, tax, contracting, etc.
- Knowledge of international trading’s agreement and treaty such as AFTA, GATT, commitments to WTO, etc.
- Interact effectively with co-workers across all levels and areas of the company
- Deliver results under tight deadlines;
- Good English spoken and written communication skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation with other functional departments.
