ROLE SUMMARYThe Localization Manager will lead NAKIVO’s localization strategy and operations across marketing, product and support content. This role is critical for ensuring our brand, product messaging and technical documentation are accurate, consistent and culturally relevant for target markets worldwide. The successful candidate will manage localization workflows, coordinate with internal teams and external vendors and ensure timely, high-quality delivery of localized assets to support NAKIVO’s growth in international markets.RESPONSIBILITIES• Develop and execute the company-wide localization strategy in alignment with marketing and product priorities.• Manage end-to-end localization projects for product UI, documentation, marketing campaigns, support content and training materials.• Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Product Management, Marketing, Support, Engineering) to plan localization schedules and priorities.• Select, manage and evaluate external translation/localization vendors and freelancers (if needed and approved)• Maintain and evolve translation memories, glossaries and style guides to ensure consistency across languages and content types.• Implement and optimize localization workflows using the company’s translation management system (TMS) and CAT tools.• Monitor localization quality through regular reviews, QA checks and feedback from regional sales teams.• Track and report on localization KPIs, including quality, cost and turnaround times.• Manage localization budget and approve vendor invoices.• Research and incorporate industry best practices and innovation into our localization and translation strategy.• Integrate and manage AI-powered tools within the localization workflow to improve efficiency, accuracy and scalability (e.g., MT engines, AI QA tools, content generation support).• Continuously evaluate and optimize AI usage by monitoring performance, training models with domain-specific data and ensuring AI outputs align with brand voice, terminology and quality standards.

Required Qualifications:• Bachelor’s Degree (localization, business, linguistics, management or with equivalent experience)• 5+ years of experience in localization or translation project management, ideally within a software/SaaS company• Proven experience managing localization for both product and marketing content• Strong understanding of localization tools, workflows and best practicesHands-on experience with translation management systems (TMS) such as Crowdin and similar platforms• Proven ability to leverage AI and AI-powered tools for localization, including workflow automation, quality assurance and integration with translation platforms.• Experience working with remote team members• Excellent organizational, communication and stakeholder management skills• Excellent track record in delivering global products, and understanding of localization challenges• Fluency in English; additional languages (German, Italian and/or Spanish) are a plus• Strong communication skills• Experience managing external vendors and localization budgetsDesired Qualifications:• Background in IT, backup solutions and/or enterprise software.• Knowledge of VMware, Proxmox or similar virtualization platforms.
