Maintenance Planning & Reliability Engineer

The purpose of this role is to improve work force productivity and work quality by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through planning and coordination of labor, parts and material, and equipment access that related to maintenance activities.• Responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordination of all plannable maintenance work performed within the facility.• Responsible for maintenance of records and files essential to meaningful analysis and reporting of maintenance-related matters.• Be the principal contact and liaison person between Maintenance, Operations, Procurement and other supported departments to ensures that all internal beneficiaries of Maintenance receive timely, efficient and quality service.• Optimize reliability maintenance programs (PDM/ PM).• Control of planned maintenance costs.• Optimize spare part usage; Provide special tool and equipment requirements.• Determination of the number of labor resources needed. Establish job goals for the work force.• Obtains blueprints, drawings, instructional manuals and special procedures, as needed, from files or other sources.• Conduct informal training as required of maintenance personnel in proper maintenance procedures and proper reporting procedures and in the use of CMMS software as a maintenance tool.• Maintains necessary records and files. Prepares and distributes accurate control reports.
