- To ensure the safety of all stored items by keeping the Store locked when unattended and out of office hours.
- To issue and re-order stock and to ensure that no goods leave the storeroom without a proper authorized store requisition.
- To post on the stock system all movements of goods in and out of stores in a timely and accurate manner.
- To conduct routine physical inventory checks.
- Follow up of all pending purchase requisitions with the purchaser to ensure the timely replenishment of depleted stocks in accordance with the par levels defined by Management.
- To prevent loss, spoilage and breakage by careful monitoring of the expiry date of perishable items, monitoring the slow moving items and keeping the store clean and tidy at all times.
- Preparation of the Receiving Record, the Receiving Report and the Daily Summary Receiving.
- Report as well as Slow Moving Item Report and any other reports as required by Hotel Management.
- Check carefully when receiving and shipping goods production and due date.
- Prepare monthly reports as required. Render assistance to respective, Housekeeping sections, Linen/Uniform, Floors, Public Areas, laundry in preparing their monthly reports and inventories.
- Collect and keep accurate records of guest needs, request and preference to further enhance servicing of our guests.
- Handle secretarial and clerical duties as assigned by Executive Housekeeper.
- Maintain confidentiality for all guests in their personal matters. Ensure guest needs and reasonable requests are met.
- Know how to use computer and support the office work if possible. Access and use Housekeeping computer programs.
- Deliver high quality service to guests via service, cleanliness and product delivery.
- Take appropriate action to resolve complaints.
- To be trained on Fire and other Emergency procedures in case of situation arises to provide safety for both guests and associates.
- Adhere to the hotel’s security and emergency policies and procedures.
- Ensure all reporting and servicing deadlines are met on a timely basis.
- Carry out other tasks as directed by supervisors.
- Maintain general filing systems.
- Answer incoming telephone calls and either transfer, redirect or take a message.
- Prepare files, reports, correspondence and other relevant business documentation.
- Handle general enquiries.
- Arrange appointments and meetings.
- Take dictation of correspondence as required.
- Demonstrate essential overall knowledge of the organization.
- Understand the responsibilities of other units and departments and co-operate with them.
- Access and use work processing computer packages and keep up to date with enhancements to latest upgrades.
- Handle all related jobs in the Department.
Yêu Cầu Công Việc
- College Degree in Business or Secretarial Study.
- English - Good level, written & spoken.
- At least 2 years in international hotels in the same position.
- Familiar with the Engineering department in international hotels
