MEPF Cost & Contract Manager

Cost & Contract & Procurement Manager – MEPF is responsible for managing the cost and commercial aspects of a construction project. This position will participate in the pre-contract, post-contract and post-construction phases of the project.Duties and Responsibilities• Prepare and check cost estimates and cost plans. Ability to propose value engineering (VE) solutions when the project requires.• Search for contractors (service providers, contractors and suppliers of materials and equipment, etc.). Supervise the organization of tenders, ensuring all processes and timetables are adhered to. Negotiate prices and terms with the contractor and propose to award a bid.• Drafting contracts, guarantees, and insurance documents in coordination with the Legal Department and other stakeholders of the project.• Capable of resolving commercial and contractual issues arising during the implementation of the project. Ensure that the parties fully fulfill their contractual obligations.• Track payment status and cash flow forecasts. Issue payment certificates when necessary.• Ability to identify project risks and develop strategies to mitigate risks.• Grasp the scope and progress of the projects under management. Coordinate in managing the scope of work, extending the contractor's time with the Design Management and Project Management Department.• Create expense reports, account statements, and maintain track of available budgets, expenses, and payments.• Oversees the work of consultants (QS), is capable of training and provides regular performance feedback.• Contribute to the improvement of the company's processes and standards.Work at : Representative Office (Hanoi)
