1. Purpose of positionTo ensures efficient product development by managing cross-functional teams, optimizing processes, and ensuring quality standards. This role drives the successful introduction of new products, from design to production, while reducing costs and improving efficiency.2. Main Responsibility- Product Development: Work with cross-functional teams to develop new printing products/processes that meet customer requirements and manufacturing capabilities. - Project Management: Create project plans, set timelines, and manage resources to ensure timely completion of NPI projects. - Technical Expertise: Possess in-depth knowledge of printing technologies and stay updated on industry trends to recommend innovative solutions. - Prototype Creation and Testing: Coordinate prototype development and testing to evaluate performance, quality, and feasibility. - Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reduction during the NPI phase. - Quality Assurance: Implement quality control processes, conduct inspections, and ensure compliance with standards and customer specifications. - Supplier Management: Manage relationships with suppliers to source materials, equipment, and services for NPI projects. - Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed documentation, project reports, and maintain accurate records of milestones and outcomes. - Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in NPI processes and implement corrective actions. - Collaboration and Communication: Ensure effective collaboration with cross-functional teams to align objectives and timelines throughout the NPI process3.
