- You make guests feel welcome by always warmly greeting them and engaging guests through meaningful interaction, while also knowing when to be discreet.
- You personalize interactions within the service process, aiming to make each visit to the Ocean Club as memorable and unique as possible.
- Tailor menu recommendations to guests for both food and beverage items. You do this by genuinely listening to the guest’s preferences and making recommendations accordingly.
- Acknowledge guests and remember dining preferences as well as their names and preferred seating. You look for opportunities to positively surprise guests through small or large gestures and acts of kindness.
- You inform guests about activities that will take place in Regent and around Phu Quoc Island in order to contribute to a pleasant stay for our guests.
- You know how to upsell quality products and use suggestive selling in order to complement products, resulting in a higher average spending and overall revenue increase.
- Ensure all tables are setup according to the resort’s standards and that service stations are fully stocked and ready for operation.
- You are responsible for recording orders through the Point of Sale system and actively monitor preparation times in order to deliver food & beverage items within a timely manner.
- You responsibly handle cash and credit card payments, by carefully recording transactions in the Point of Sale System, resulting in an accurate daily report at the end of the day.
- Make sure Ocean Club and the surrounding areas are spotlessly clean. You do this by following cleaning checklists, but also by taking control and inspect the areas on a regular base.
- You know the Forbes Travel Guide Standards that are applicable for restaurants & bars and you ensure that you implement them within the service processes.
- You have the knowledge to solve problems on the spot, but also knows when to ask for assistance from colleagues. Always follow up on guest issues and report occurred problems to the management.

- Diploma or Vocational Certificate in Hospitality Skills or related field
- Possess customer service-oriented mindset
- Always maintain proper grooming as hotel's policy
- Can work in rotated shifts
- Good English
