- Direct/Manage everyday activity, plan and assign work, ensuring you always have the right staffing numbers
- Develop your team and improve their performance through coaching and feedback, and create performance and development goals for colleagues
- Train colleagues to make sure they deliver with compliance and to the standards we expect
- Drive a great working environment for teams to thrive - linking up departments to create a sense of one team
- Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments
- Recommend or initiate any People & Cultural-related actions where needed
- Create programmes to foster a positive work environment for all employees. Support and administer an annual team member satisfaction survey
- Educate and train managers on People & Culture disciplines to foster productivity and enhance performance
- Welcome and conduct new team member orientation
- Oversee maintenance of accurate and up-to-date personnel files and records for all employees
- Ensure hotel or company hiring standards and applicable laws and regulations are followed
- Build great relations with outside contacts
- Meets with Heads of Departments to review their recruitment needs, ensuring they are following their manpower budgets
- Help create the department’s annual budget and the setting of departmental goalsMonitor budget and control expenses with a focus on food, beverage, and labour costs….
- Works with Finance on the Headhunt contract to ensure a competitive and cost-effective headhunt service is provided.
- Work with Departments to ensure the headcount hiring and salary offers are under the budget.
- Develop awareness and reputation of the hotel and the brand in the local community, and promote team member involvement in the local community
- Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws, policies and procedures
- Conduct annual People & Culture compliance/standards self-audit
- Research and investigate all workplace issues to discover facts, identify potential risks to the hotel or company, and facilitate resolution through your employee relations programmes.
- Collect and maintain data from exit interviews, turnover statistics, and absenteeism reports to identify trends, training needs, and supervisory issues
- Manage the performance management system and the cycle of recruitment, induction, training, development, and succession
- Other ad-hoc duties – unexpected moments when we have to pull together to get a task done.
Yêu Cầu Công Việc
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of HR management experience, preferably in the hospitality industry
- Strong knowledge of Vietnam labor laws and HR best practices
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
