Polymer Trading Operator (English Speaking)

The Polymer Trading Operator will be in charge of making contract draft, shipment operation, payment checking, dealing with customer service (shipment schedule, claim and demurrage etc.,). Polymer items are mainly PE(Polyethylene) and PP(Polypropylene). The Operator should be very familiar with shipment process, for example, cargo ready, shipment request, issuing & amending B/L, L/C opening and amending process, checking payment and dealing with claims. He or she should also have good communication skills with customers. The applicants should have at least 3 years’ experience in this field. And He or she also needs to co-work with another trading manager for better operation. So, teamwork skill is highly valued.Primary Responsibilities• Making Contract sheets with customers when deals done by Polymer traders.• Checking the shipment schedule from suppliers’ side (Korea, India, China etc.,)• Communicate with customers on L/C opening and amending status.• Communicate with Indian and Korean PIC with cargo status.• Checking the payment status with customers.
