CADDi is on a mission to "Unleash the potential of manufacturing." We operate "CADDi DRAWER," a cloud-based system that supports digital transformation centered on the use of drawings, which are the most essential data in the manufacturing industry.
We are looking for someone who can lead the technology selection and architectural decision-making processes in rapidly expanding services and organizations. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for building backend applications with a strong emphasis on sustainable operability. Additionally, this position requires the ability of developing and formulating technology strategies that align with business goals, while providing technical leadership to the development team in this position.
Expected Role
Lead technology selection and architecture decisions for a rapidly expanding service and organization
Build back-end applications with sustainable operational viability in mind
Planning and formulation of technology strategy aligned with business strategy and technical lead of development organization
Examples of anticipated tasks (not limited to)
Leading system requirements definition and domain modeling
Designing architecture of backend systems
Hand on the design and development of the system, including unit test & documentation.
Implement features & integration with clean, efficient code, following best practices for software development.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process.

MUST-HAVE REQUIREMENTSFor this position, the following are strongly requested.
8+ years of hands-on experience developing backend systems for web application
Experience with technology verification, requirements analysis, architecture design, and infrastructure construction for development teams or multiple projects.
Experience in resolving issues related to technology, product, or development process.
Experience in back-end development and operation of web applications using statically typed languages & framework
Proficiency in developing within a Docker native infrastructure environment.
Fluent business communication skills in English, ability to complete daily tasks in English, including text communication and meetings.(CEFR B1 or Higher level)
NICE-TO-HAVE REQUIREMENTS
Experience in design and development of large systems across multiple teams
Experience in development based on domain-driven design.
Experience working with Scrum or Agile methodologies.
Experience developing in languages with strong statically typed and functional elements such as Rust, Scala, etc.
Knowledge of front-end development, libraries & framework such as Reactjs, Next.js is a plus.
Experience designing, developing, and operating microservices.
Experience developing security-conscious web applications.
Business level Japanese proficiency.
