Department: Business Development / Product and Process Development CenterReporting Relationship:Report to: Business Development Manager - Administratively and Product and Process Development Manager (PPDM) - FunctionallySubordinate: NoneJob Responsibility: The Product and Formulation Specialist provides technical services for new product development activities. He/She is responsible in product formulations / BOM and product characterization.Duties will include and not be limited to:• Conduct product development work from bench top prototypes thru scaling-up products and processes for commercialization in support of DenEast and stakeholders’ objectives.• Technical lead responsible for product development and product optimization, working in collaboration with project managers & the cross functional teams from concept thru commercialization of products, ensuring excellent communication.• Possess strong product development skills in ingredient functionality, material selection and formulation to understand effects on finished product performance.• Lead multiple key projects, ensuring they meet project scope, launch time and flawless execution.• Develop ingredient and formulation trial plans.• Conduct trials, data collection and interpret results to drive program/project and technical knowledge forward, develop robust action plans, risk assessment and contingency planning.• Partner internally and externally to source ingredients and to leverage vendor expertise in ingredient functionality.• Implement and advance new research and development procedures & techniques.• Accurately maintain laboratory notebook and generate all required product documentation, including product specifications, formulation sheets, and SOPs.• Conduct market research for the assigned product portfolios.

Qualifications:• Graduate Bachelor's Degree of Chemical Engineering, Food Technology.• At least 1 years of experience in Dairy Industry preferably specializing in process development and validation. • Has knowledge in statistical process control. • Solid knowledge in Food Hygiene, Food Safety, HACCP, GMP, 5S, Continuous Improvement, Project Management, Manufacturing Process and Quality Systems. • Excellent leadership and communication skills. Fluent speak and communicate in English.
