Product Engineer for Unique Furniture (Furniture Industry)

Unique Furniture A/S is an international furniture supplier with headquarters based in Denmark, yet with branches and subsidiaries all over the world. We are experiencing strong growth in multiple markets and looking for candidates who seek a career in the international furniture business.We are currently looking to recruit a Product Engineer to join our business development team in the Vietnam. It is mix position between technical development and QA. You will be an integrated part of the Development department responsible for, developing new products, to make sure products comply with customer requirement and market regulations. Moreover, you will be responsible for setting up and building the bridge between our customers and our vendors to make sure new products meet customer expectation, follow all standards and regulations of the delivery market, are competitive in the furniture field, in price point and in quality.• Our target to deliver right quality products to our customers. • To maintain the highest quality standards at all times.• An ability to inspire, motivate and encourage people to see the benefits of high QA standards.• Creating an organizational culture that works towards high standards in all areas of work.- Work with the Product developing team regarding new development, sample inspections. Providing clear instructions, quality requirements, and reporting. No open topics left before products go to mass production.- Work closely with our Sales team abroad with briefing on developing technical points, questions and answers well communicate between Sales – Development team – Suppliers.- Work closely with QC and manufactures once products go to mass production, make sure all technical files, swatches, requirements are approved and provided to QC and manufactures. BUT this is not ending “with providing” it has to continue with Quality assurance and maintain customer expectations during life time of products from manufacturing to the end user.- Technically to develop environment friendly products as it is one of key things today - from material specification, painting to the recycle packing material.
