Programme Officer on Digitalisation and Disaster Risk Management “D-Risk”

Duty station: Can Tho, VietnamDuration: 1st March 2026 until 31st December 2027 with possible extensionMain responsibilities:• Acting as technical focal point for digitalisation in climate and disaster risk management; • Advising the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, the Ministry of Finance, and provincial authorities on the use of digitalisation including digital applications, tools and databases;• Ensuring close and effective cooperation and communication with relevant partners and stakeholders at national and provincial level during the implementation of the activities;• Cooperating and advising in a multidisciplinary team working on climate and disaster risk management and financing; • Responsible for providing inputs to PR/communication, knowledge management and M&E;• Ensuring that the activities are implemented in compliance with GIZ rules and regulations.
