Job SummaryProject Controller plays a key role within CME Solar’s PMU, responsible for planning, scheduling, monitoring, and controlling major solar and hydropower projects. The role ensures efficient project execution through strong data management, accurate reporting, and proactive controls, contributing to effective decisions-making, risk management, and resource optimization. Main ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & Schedule Development:- Maintain detailed Work Breakdown Structures for large-scale projects.- Develop and manage project schedules incorporating activities, durations, resource loading, logical predecessors, and constraints.- Identify and monitor critical activities, potential schedule risks, and critical resource paths across multiple projects.- Establish and manage scope, schedule, and cost baselines.Progress Monitoring & Control:- Develop and improve data collection tools/methods for accurate progress reporting.- Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, QA/QC, and HSE for timely data submission.- Update schedules regularly with actual progress. - Measure and analyze schedule variances (SV) and calculate Schedule Performance Index (SPI) against the established baseline.- Perform impact analyses of delays or potential risks on key milestones and projected completion dates for each assigned project.Cost Control & Analysis:- Integrate cost and schedule data to monitor and control actual project expenditures against the approved budget for each assigned project.- Support Estimate at Completion (EAC) and Estimate to Complete (ETC) forecasting and evaluate financial impacts of changes.Risk & Change Management Support:- Support risk identification, assessment, and mitigation planning.- Evaluate schedule and cost impacts of Change Requests and prepare impact analyses.Reporting & Communication:- Prepare weekly/monthly/quarterly performance reports (Gantt charts, S-curves, variances, summaries).- Coordinate with internal/external stakeholders (JV, OE, lenders, EPC, suppliers, site teams).- Develop customized dashboards for clear data visualization.- Ensure effective communication of planning/control information.

Education - Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering (Electrical, Civil, Mechanical), Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is mandatory or completed a 35 Professional Development Units (PDU) PMP training course.Language - Good at English Experience - Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in project planning and control roles, preferably within large-scale EPC projects in the energy, infrastructure, or heavy industrial sectors.- Direct experience in planning and control for utility-scale PV solar farm and/or hydro power plant projects is mandatory.- Advanced proficiency in specialized project management software such as Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis, charting, and reporting.- Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings, specifications, and EPC contract documents for both solar and hydro power plants.- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and logical thinking skills.- Excellent communication and presentation skills (both Vietnamese and English) for diverse audiences.Working location Phu My Ward (old Dis.7) , Ho Chi Minh CityBenefit and incentive • Fixed: Compensation would be at market rates, depending on the candidate profile and experience. • Annual bonus based on individual and company’s performance.
