- Managing consumer and corporate media & PR opportunities for the organization at hotel level and supporting local media & PR opportunities across other IHG hotels or region.
- Media strategy: Responsible for further developing, implementing and fine-tuning the.
- organization’s media strategy. Building media relations; identifying media opportunities; anticipating challenges and coordinating responses.
- Media handling: To be the first point of contact for media enquiries, liaising with key staff to ensure that journalists are provided with statements or interviews as appropriate.
- When appropriate undertaking press, TV & radio interviews and identifying appropriate staff to comment and undertake interviews.
- Briefing & training: To arrange and deliver relevant media training for key staff within Marketing department. To train and prepare identified staff for key media opportunities, situations or a media crisis.
- Crisis Management: To work closely with an identified team to develop media plans to tackle any crises that may occur.
- Media partners: To develop media partner proposals for major and key events and opportunities
- Public Relations Events: To organize media launches and photo opportunities to maximize the public relations opportunities of service openings, report launches, fundraising events, conferences/AGM - to make them newsworthy.
- Celebrities: To recruit and handle celebrity contacts.
- Maintains a comprehensive list of international and local media contacts, with particular emphasis on F&B media contacts.
- Manages assigned accounts as per the media account management system.
- Manages external vendors and media agencies; work with agency partners to identify strategic media buys for their hotel(s).
- Liaises with IHG Brand Team’s PR leadership to ensure media placement for hotel(s) supports the overall hotel marketing strategy.
- Acts as consulting resource for property marketing teams looking for regional photographers for food, amenity, and property imagery and ensures all photography adheres to brand voice.
- Internal Communications: To support the internal communications requirements of the Communications & Marketing team.
- Social media. Working with the Digital Marketing Manager to support the resort’s growing social media requirements by supply content and dovetailing with traditional media activity.
- To undertake and support the Communications & Marketing team in the delivery against strategic objectives.
- Perform any other duties that may be assigned by the management from time to time.
Yêu Cầu Công Việc
- Bachelor's degree or Master’s degree in eCommerce, Marketing, Advertising or Communications, Business Administration or related major.
- 3 year-experience in the Marketing department; hospitality marketing (luxury sector is preferred) or agency experience.
- Basic Computer Skills - Uses basic computer hardware and software (e.g., personal computers, word processing software, Internet browsers, etc.).
- Reading Comprehension – Understands written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.
- Excellent writing and editing skills and the ability to write compelling copy are a must.
- Inter-personal skills are vital for developing relationships with media representatives.
- Good English communications and writing skills to facilitate the communication process.
