Purchasing Staff

1/ Order & Sample Management • Review new orders, POs, and record charts to ensure alignment. • Check proto samples and verify trim accuracy. • Update records for missing items or pricing discrepancies.2/ Fabric & Material Coordination • Request fabric consumption data and release orders as needed. • Coordinate PO revisions with supplier approval. • Track and manage inventory to avoid overbooking.3/ ERP & Documentation • Input material data, generate GOIs, POs, and cost sheets in ERP. • Ensure consistency between GOIs, TNA, and records. • Submit documents for supervisor review and approvals.4/ Supplier & Production Follow-up • Negotiate pricing, lead times, and terms with suppliers. • Create and track orders in supplier systems. • Monitor deliveries, PIs, and layouts. • Handle material transfers to sub-factories.5/ Shipment & Import Management • Coordinate over-shipments and resolve delays. • Limit imports to under two times per style; escalate if exceeded. • Apply for payments in advance and manage necessary documentation.6/ Collaboration & Cost Control • Work with production merchandiser on sampling and shipment issues. • Reconcile budget vs actual costs for materials and CMPT. • Research new suppliers with a focus on local sourcing.
