We value constructive criticism and good conversation, with the one rule that you must back up any position with an explanation.  WHAT YOU’LL DO Identify and replicate defects in the codebase, then verify that fixes work as expected.Design, write, and maintain automated tests with Playwright, Cypress, Vitest, or Jest.Propose and implement effective approaches for end-to-end and automation testing.Test new features and provide fast, actionable feedback to developers.Suggest test cases and create the necessary test data for each requirement.Anticipate potential issues with user experience and highlight improvements.  Your day-to-day may include:Using preview links to run stress tests.Modifying data and attempting to break the code.Writing and optimizing automated tests to make them faster and more reliable.Continuously testing existing functionality under different conditions to uncover bugs and opportunities to improve UX.Our stack is built with JavaScript and Go. Ideally, you’ll be able to collaborate closely with developers to support them in writing tests and write them yourself. You will also be preparing and designing test cases.
