The Quality Specialist is responsible for designing, building, and embedding an integrated Quality Management System (QMS) across the organization, while simultaneously driving targeted business and operational improvement initiatives. While elements of ISO-based systems currently exist in selected departments, the Quality Management System must be developed, harmonized, and rolled out company-wide. The role acts as a system architect, ensuring that ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001: 2015 requirements are consistently applied, practical, and embedded into daily operations and management decision-making.1. Quality Management System• Develop, build, and implement a company-wide integrated Quality Management System, starting from an existing but partially implemented and fragmented ISO setup.• Harmonize existing quality practices across departments into one consistent system aligned with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015• Ensure the Quality Management System is embedded into daily operations, management reviews, and performance monitoring.• Define and maintain clear process ownership, governance structures, and documentation.• Responsible for management of and liaison with QHS auditors to acquire and maintain ISO certifications.• Plan and conduct internal audits, management reviews, and corrective and preventive actions.• Support departments in translating quality requirements into practical and usable business processes.2. Continuous & Business Improvement• Identify, prioritize, and lead cross-functional improvement initiatives aligned with business KPIs.• Apply structured problem-solving and improvement methodologies (PDCA, Lean tools, basic Six Sigma).• Facilitate improvement workshops and working sessions across departments.• Track, measure, and report improvement progress and results to management and EXCO.• Promote a culture of quality ownership and continuous improvement.• Coach managers and teams in structured problem-solving and improvement thinking.• Provide targeted training on quality systems, performance management, and improvement tools.• Act as a change agent during system rollout and process implementation.
