This position ensures the smooth operation of daily activities, supports interdepartmental collaboration, provides excellent guest service, and assists in executing high-quality recreational events that reflects the five - star standard of Furama Resort Danang.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Guest Services & Sales
• Promote and sell all recreational services and activity packages to maximize guest satisfaction and revenue.
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and feedback in a professional and timely manner.
• Resolve guest complaints promptly and report to the Events & Recreation Manager.
2. Daily Operations
• Oversee the daily operation of the Events & Recreation Department, ensuring all activities and facilities meet safety and service standards.
• Monitor recreation areas including pools, beach and tennis court...for cleanliness, safety, and readiness.
• Coordinate and schedule team members to ensure adequate staffing and smooth execution of events.
• Check daily staff attendance and manage shift rosters as needed.
• Conduct daily shift briefings and ensure effective internal communication.
3. Event Coordination
• Assist the Events & Recreation Manager in planning and executing in-house events, seasonal celebrations, and guest-requested programs.
• Work closely with other departments (F&B, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Housekeeping) to ensure seamless event delivery.
• Follow up on PR requests, engineering job orders, and procurement to ensure readiness of materials and services.
4. Training & Staff Development
• Conduct training for new team members and provide ongoing updates for all staff on new services, procedures, and guest service standards.
5. Reporting & Administration
• Prepare daily operation logs and submit incident or performance reports as required.
• Create monthly performance reports.
• Assist in tracking inventory of recreational equipment and supplies.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality, Tourism, English language, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in recreation, guest engagement, or events within the hospitality industry.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills in both Vietnamese and English.
• Energetic, guest-focused, and proactive in problem-solving.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and special events.

- College or university degree in Tourism or related field
- Proficient in English
- Skilled in office computer applications
- Agile, with good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Professional grooming and communication manner
- Preference for candidates with a professional receptionist qualification.
