[Remote] Senior/Team Lead PHP Developer (Zend, Laravel)

MUST HAVE SKILLS: 6+ years of hands-on experience in software development with a strong focus on backend systems. Proven expertise in PHP 7/8, with solid experience in modern frameworks such as Zend and Laravel (our current stack uses Zend). Good understanding of SOLID principles, software design patterns, and clean coding practices. Excellent understanding of relational databases, including database design and optimization. Solid experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and writing unit/integration tests using tools like PHPUnit or Pest. Background in architecture and system design for scalable, maintainable applications. Skilled in refactoring legacy codebases to improve maintainability, performance, and readability. Fluent in English – strong verbal and written communication skills are essential. NICE TO HAVE Experience with front-end frameworks such as ReactJS, Angular, or Vue.js, along with proficiency in HTML/CSS. Experience working with distributed systems, and message brokers such as Kafka or RabbitMQ. Demonstrated ability to lead or contribute to system migration projects, particularly in migrating legacy Zend Framework applications to Laravel. ACCEPT REMOTE WORKING
