- Be responsible for portion of the daily operations of the Reservations Department.
- Provide assistance to the Reservation Manager in overseeing the operations of the Reservation Department while maximizing revenue.
- Create and maintain daily, monthly and yearly reports for forecasting and analysis.
- Review reports and monitor all related business trends on a regular basis to recommend any appropriate actions plan for all market segments with the approval of the Director of Yield and Revenue and/or the Reservations Manager.
- Assist with rate changes, block arrangements, open and close any The Grand Ho Tram Strip related channels, all room related promotions to control hotel inventory in order to maximize revenue with the approval of management.
- Ensure all information relating to company, guests, data and reports are true and accurate in all systems and channels.
- Ensure all required tasks are completed with accuracy in a timely manner for the department.
- Maintain a safe, clean and organized working environment.
- Maintain high service standard by adhering to set performance targets for the Reservations Department.
- Ensure compliance of company’s, department’s internal policies, government regulations and/or any applicable policy and procedure.
- Communicate in a professional manner and handle effectively with both internal and external guests’ enquiries and complaints.
- Monitor and maintain appropriate scheduling to satisfy the volume of activity in the Reservations Department and ensure high level of guest service.
- Assist Reservations Agents during peak periods with all tasks when appropriate.
- Monitor employee adherence to performance standards regularly. Establish and maintain open channels of communication within Reservations Department. Establish a team atmosphere where all members are treated with dignity and respect.
- Train, counsel, coach and spot check Reservations Coordinators in the performance of their duties; prepare and present regular performance reviews to ensure a high quality guest experience.
- Cross train in other relevant departments to improve overall skill sets.
- To lead by example and project at all times a positive and role model attitude and exercise self control
- Perform any special projects assigned by management.
- Performs other job related duties assigned.
- Meet the attendance guidelines of the department and adhere to departmental and company policies.
- Perform duties as assigned, always presenting oneself as a credit to The Grand Ho Tram Strip and encourages others to do the same.
Yêu Cầu Công Việc
- At least 2 years relevant experience in hospitality industry, with 1 year supervisory level preferred. Must have a track record of effective and successful management.
- Bachelor Degree in hotel management studies or equivalent preferred.
- Excellent language skills in English.
- Ability to operate computer and Microsoft Office and PMS and / or CRS
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts, maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance.
- Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team. Team building and problem solving skills are required. Must be able to implement departmental procedures in accordance with The Grand Ho Tram Strip’s mission statement.
- Must be able to work various shifts including weekends and holidays.
- Must have excellent customer service skills and be able to lead and teach a strong team. Able to work independently and have good understanding in operations.
