- The ability to assume responsibility for the execution of the Reservation Department’s policies and procedures (MOS) and manage the daily operation in the absence of managers
- The ability to maintain reservation standards
- The ability to work quickly in a high-pressure environment and ability to handle stress
- The ability to display a high level of integrity and professionalism at all times in dealing with external guests and employees
- The ability to review call volume (ACD) including abandonment rate and take action as appropriate
- The ability to enforce & manage the reservations incentive program and compile/publish monthly results for the team
- The ability to render assistance and support to Reservations GRO and CIS leader in terms of operations needs.
- The knowledge of preparation of pick-up and OTB reports and inform managers in case of fluctuations on reservations demand or unusual booking patterns…etc
- The ability to print all major reservations reports from Opera
- The ability to create and maintain individual rate codes for each negotiated account in Opera and liaise with WRO/GDS for all rate loading issues.
- The ability to conduct training for new staff, organize refreshment training sessions and provide timely feedback to reservations staff. Update training materials whenever necessary.
- The ability to handle guest complaints keeping senior management well informed of any problems and action taken
- The ability to maintain favorable working relationships among employees to promote maximum morale, productivity and efficiency
- The ability to assume the duties of the Assistant Reservations Manager or Reservations Manager in his/her absence
- The ability to respond properly in any hotel emergency or safety situation
- The ability to complete any project assigned by managers
Yêu Cầu Công Việc
1. College degree
2. Computer literate (Knowledge of Opera/Fidelio is an asset)
3. Proficient in verbal/written English, proficiency in another language is preferable
4. Pleasant and professional telephone manner
5. Previous experience in Rooms Division or Sales and Marketing
6. Previous reservations and training experience is an asset
