Design and lead our RoR backend engineers in development the backend of our core
business commerce platform with Ruby on Rails, Postgres, Elastic Search, etc.
- Ensure the platform capability of maintainability, reliability, and extendability of the
deliverables.
- Create strong engineering team culture, collaboration, high performance with your
leadership and management.
- Participating effectively in our Agile/SCRUM process, in software architecture design,
deliverable sprints, code reviews and enhancements with the team, etc. as well as
proposing new alternatives to existing tech and design solutions.

6+ years in total experience, especially master with backend engineering job with Ruby on
Rails, Postgres, Elastic Search, NoSQL, K8s
● Had hands-on experiences in building products or similar platforms such as ecommerce
(B2C or B2B/B2B2C), business operation web applications...
● Had strong capability of technology and solution evaluation.
● Solid grasp on good software engineering practices such as code reviews, deep focus on
quality and documentation.
● Knowledgeable of cyber security and data privacy.
● Great team spirit and solution-oriented attitude.
