1. Prepares the departmental budget in conjunction with the Managing Director
2. Makes suggestions in order to increase and improve departmental performance, and to ensure departmental budget is adhered to.
3. Supervises, and if necessary, discipline employees under direct control.
4. Reports sickness or misconduct of Security staff to the Human Capital Director/Division Head.
5. Ensures that all employees report for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform and name tag.
6. Builds and efficient team of employees by taking an active interest in their welfare, safety and security, training and development.
7. Ensures that all employees have a complete understanding of the hotel's policies and procedures in order that they may adhere to them
8. Conducts training for new and existing employees as directed, to report all activities to the Training Manager on a monthly basis and to keep accurate departmental records of all training conducted.
9. Ensures that all department reports and correspondence are complete accurately and punctually.
10. Ensures proper handling of lost and found items.
11. Ensures that security log books are properly used in order to enable the accurate monitoring of outlet revenue, guest comments and work performed.
12. Develop, update, and oversee the implementation of security procedures, policies, and standards (SOPs) for the entire resort campus.
13. Conduct risk assessments, analyze threats, and plan preventive measures for security and safety incidents.
14. Recruit, train, and coach Security associates and contracted guards in operational tasks (patrol, access control, fire prevention, basic first aid, etc.).
15. Create shift schedules, assign duties, monitor performance, and enforce disciplinary actions for violations.
16. Organize regular practice to enhance professional skills and emergency response (fire drills, evacuation drills, etc.).
17. Lead and coordinate responses to emergency situations (fire, unauthorized intrusion, accidents, medical emergencies, etc.).
18. Collaborate with other departments (reception, engineering, medical, VIP services) and relevant authorities (police, fire department, medical services) to resolve incidents quickly and safely.
19. Control incident information and promptly communicate updates to the Executive Management and stakeholders.
20. Draft and present periodic reports to the Executive Management (incident summaries, costs, trend analyses, and improvement recommendations).
21. Coordinate with the accommodation and events teams to ensure guest safety and security during special activities.
Yêu Cầu Công Việc
- Proven experience in managing security operations, preferably in a manufacturing plant, hospitality, or large-scale facilities.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in fire prevention and firefighting systems (fire alarms, extinguishers, sprinklers, evacuation procedures, etc.)
- English proficiency in both written and spoken communication.
