Senior AI Engineer

Akila is looking for a Senior AI Engineer who will be engaged into machine learning algorithm and theoretical frontier research which includes machine learning, deep learning and data mining. The candidate will be working across multiple teams and functions for developing cutting edge, creative and advanced AI applications, and processes. You should be comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment where speed, hard work and fresh thinking are critical to success.   Design, develop, and deploy advanced machine learning models and generative AI to enhance product features and capabilities.  Implement scalable and efficient ML pipelines for processing data from data lake and/or data warehouse.  Conduct thorough data analysis to extract meaningful insights and patterns from related datasets.  Continuously monitor and evaluate model performance, making necessary adjustments and improvements.  Collaborate closely with team members within the organization (i.e. AI scientists, Product, QA, Backend Engineer, Leadership, etc.).  Implement agile, hands-on approaches in project execution, ensuring flexibility and responsiveness to evolving business needs.  Communicate technical concepts and project progress effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.  Solve technical issues and help shape an overarching strategy.  Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in ML/AI, and ESG technologies.  Contribute to the team's knowledge sharing, fostering an environment that values innovative thinking and the exploration of new ideas in Machine Learning.
