Collaborating with key stakeholders to understand project requirements, contribute to technical feasibility assessments, and actively engage in project planning and execution;
Innovatively designing and developing advanced AI/ML models and algorithms that cater to the specific needs of our applications, utilizing industry-standard frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch;
Integrating seamlessly AI/ML models into our existing software infrastructure, ensuring they function harmoniously within the broader system architecture;
Seamlessly developing standardized and automated processes, including data collection, model training, inference, and incorporating user feedback into the training pipeline for continuous model improvement and upgrades;
Successfully define methods to evaluate and benchmark results, ensuring we can clearly determine whether changes or refactoring efforts are improvements or setbacks;
Rigorously testing and validating AI/ML models to guarantee their accuracy, reliability, and efficiency in real-world applications;
Working proactively with software engineers to incorporate AI/ML functionalities into user interfaces and backend services;
Experiment with various AI approaches, such as multi-modal methods like Colpali or leveraging tools like Swirl AI Connect for context search and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
Constantly staying informed about the latest advancements in AI/ML technologies and industry best practices, and actively suggesting ways to incorporate emerging trends into our development processes such as enhancing inference speed, scaling AI systems to serve multiple customers simultaneously, and minimizing training costs.
Ensuring that data security, privacy, and ethical considerations are central to our AI/ML solutions, in collaboration with cross-functional teams;
Comprehensively providing technical documentation and facilitating knowledge transfer to internal teams for the effective understanding and application of AI/ML components.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO MAXIMIZE IMPACT IN THIS ROLE
5 years of practical experience in developing AI-powered software. The designated title will be assigned based on your strengths, experience, and potential for growth.
Proficiency in AI/ML frameworks, such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
Experience with OpenAI API with hands-on experience in developing and deploying machine learning models.
Practical experience in building AI models using open-source LLMs like LLaMA.
Strong proficiency in Python and familiarity with key libraries and tools for AI/ML development.
Skilled in data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques.
Familiar with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for AI/ML solutions deployment and management.
Solid understanding of software development principles, version control systems (e.g., Git), and collaborative coding practices.
Strong problem-solving skills and a keen interest in addressing complex challenges in AI/ML development.
Good communication, with the ability to understand business requirements and comfortably discuss ideas.
Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a global environment and agile project setting.
Demonstrated ability in mentoring and managing multiple projects simultaneously will set your application apart and give you a distinct advantage.
