Senior Architect (Preferred Having Experiences on Residential Projects)

General:• Lead the project team to develop architecture design solutions for projects. • Have working knowledge of current Vietnam Building standards & codes; knowledge of foreign Building codes.• Investigate options and alternatives for architecture design concepts. • Fully develop architecture design concepts and prepare with the project team documentation.• Encourage and supervise junior designers to provide good design and standard detailing. • Plan designer work flow. • Assist in marketing and representation for the company.A Project Setup• Finalize the client brief for approval and sign off• Review and summarize all statutory requirements in regards to local and authority submissions• Prepare a list of documents to form the basis of all required authority submissions, design documentation and working drawings package• Prepare or advise or comment on design programB Design and Documentation• Prepare sketch designs including perspectives, material selections etc.• Revise the design based on input from the client• Prepare drawing documentation after signing final design development by client• Present the design concept to the client, with the Project Director• Visit the site to take site measurements, digital photographs and investigate the area• Co-ordinate with other project consultants, and • Coordinate with the technician team to prepare construction documentation for architectural work including details and specification and design report• Sketch designs, provide details and materials for input by the technician team and 3D (if necessary) C Project Management• Assist the Design team to develop details and cross check with other relevant documents• Review deliverables prepared by team, revise where necessary and present to Design director before passing to client• Visit site to inspect the construction ensure compliance with the design specifications• Prepare a plan, including resources, to produce a proposal• Maintain a register of all contractor communications• Coordinate with the client’s cost consultant /QS to develop and finalize budget details • Issue information to the contractors in regards to RFI, change orders, additional details, site instructions and variations• Attend site meetings as necessaryD Other• Assist Business Development team to prepare appropriate proposals• To ensure that the Quality Management System is implemented and maintained • Coordinate with the design team to update the company design database which includes 3D presentation images, AutoCAD Library, photographs, products and project
