Category Strategy & Business Growth- Define and execute the growth strategy across multiple product clusters, ensuring alignment with Lazada’s business objectives.- Develop category expansion plans, optimizing pricing, product assortment, promotions, and traffic strategies.- Identify and onboard new Chinese-owned sellers and China-based brands, driving cross-border e-commerce (CBEC) growth.- Monitor market trends, competitive dynamics, and consumer behavior to refine category strategies.Chinese Seller & Brand Management - Manage and develop strong relationships with Chinese-speaking sellers, distributors, and brands, ensuring long-term partnerships. - Support Chinese sellers in optimizing their store performance, sales strategies, and operational efficiency. - Lead negotiations and execute Joint Business Plans (JBPs) with key Chinese suppliers and brands. - Work closely with Lazada’s regional and international teams to enhance seller onboarding and cross-border operations.Sales Performance & Data Analytics- Track and analyze sales performance, GMV, conversion rates, and key seller metrics to identify growth opportunities.- Use data insights to optimize pricing, promotions, and campaign effectiveness.- Develop forecasting models and performance dashboards in collaboration with Business Intelligence teams.- Identify gaps in category performance and implement corrective actions.Team Leadership & People Management - Lead and mentor a team of Key Account Managers, ensuring alignment with category objectives. - Set clear performance KPIs, track progress, and provide coaching for team development. - Foster a high-performance culture, encouraging ownership, collaboration, and innovation. - Support the team in managing complex negotiations and handling seller escalations.Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work with Marketing teams to execute cluster-specific campaigns and category promotions. - Coordinate with Operations & Logistics teams to enhance seller fulfillment and supply chain efficiency. - Align with Finance teams to ensure sustainable pricing strategies and profitability. - Collaborate with Regional & China-based teams to drive cross-border supply chain improvements and seller onboarding.

Experience & Industry Background:- 10+ years of experience in E-commerce, Retail, Category Management, or Business Development. At least +3 years in Manager roles and manage peoples- Proven experience managing Chinese sellers and China-based brands (cross-border experience preferred). - Deep understanding of Vietnam’s e-commerce landscape and consumer trends. - Strong track record of driving category growth in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.Skills & Competencies- Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin) and English (both spoken and written) is required.- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills, particularly with Chinese sellers and brands.- Leadership and people management experience, with a history of building and developing high-performing teams.- Excellent data analysis skills, with experience using Excel, SQL, Tableau, or similar tools.- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work under pressure, demonstrating resilience in tough situations.- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to business challenges.
