Our primary base is in Auckland, but we also work with talented off‑shore teams across the world.The RoleWe are looking for an enthusiastic and bright Senior Software Engineer who enjoys working with cutting‑edge web technologies. You’ll collaborate closely with our team to design and build scalable systems, and you’ll have a direct impact on features used by thousands of users globally.You will:
Scope projects and contribute to architectural decisions
Design and implement robust, maintainable, and well‑tested code
Review code from other team members, offering constructive feedback and guidance
Collaborate with clients and colleagues in an English‑speaking environment
Help shape the direction of our technology stack and processes

What We’re Looking For
Excellent spoken and written English, with confidence to work with an international team and clients
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent proven experience)
5+ years of professional software engineering experience
Solid experience with:
Node.js and NestJS
TypeScript
React.js
PHP (CodeIgniter framework)
SQL databases
Building and consuming REST or GraphQL APIs
Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Vitest or Jest
Experience with Docker in development and deployment workflows
Great to Have (not required, but a plus):
Experience with microservices architecture, especially gRPC
Familiarity with orchestration systems like Kubernetes
Experience with monitoring systems such as Grafana, InfluxDB, or Splunk
Familiarity with logging systems like Elasticsearch and Kibana
Experience with messaging services such as NATS or Redis
Knowledge of AWS infrastructure and services
