Strategic & Product OwnershipDefine strategic direction and core design pillars for puzzle/casual products based on player behavior and business goals.Collaborate closely with Producers and Product Owners to shape product strategies, define USPs, retention loops, and long-term content roadmap.Proactively suggest new ideas, improve design workflows, or adopt new tools to enhance team efficiency.Hand-on & executionDetail the gameplay ideas into Game Design Document.Design and balance game system including in-game economy and difficulty progression.Strong skills in designing levels for puzzle games.Represent the Game Design team in cross-functional meetings with engineering, product, and partners.Organize and lead internal design reviews to ensure high design quality and foster a culture of learning.Monitor and analyze game performance and user data to improve existing features and game KPI metrics.Mentor & CoachingMentor and coach junior Game Designers: share knowledge, guide technical skills, and nurture systemic design thinking.

KNOWLEDGE:Knowledge about Game mechanics, game flow, tool support for game designing.Knowledge about Mobile game market, game trending especially in casual and puzzle genre.Proficiency in prototyping and ideation.User psychology.Wireframe Design tools (Figma, Photoshop, Basalmiq, etc).AI tools (ChatGPT, Midjourney, Gemini, etc).Design Thinking processMind mapping processLevel Design mindset for casual game (difficulty progression, level funnel data, level KPI)Nice to have:Background in technical fields or programming.Color theory. ABILITIES:Hard skills:Minimum 4–5 years of experience in Game Design, including 2+ years in a Senior or Lead role.Game balancing, including in-game economies and difficulty progression.Systemic design thinking and ability to guide design direction based on both creative vision and player data.Soft skills:Strong communication and logical thinking skills to clearly articulate and defend design decisions.Experience mentoring, coaching or onboarding junior designers.Self-critique and accept outside critique.Keen eye for details.Proficient in English.Nice to have:Proven experience designing or shipping at least one successful puzzle/casual title with solid retention & monetization KPIs.Ability to create a prototype by yourself with any creation software or game engine (by AI, or Unity3d, cocos, Game Maker,...)Blending between Player Focus + Innovation + Decision Making.Passion for playing and making casual games.
