JOB OVERVIEWTake responsibility for developing and maintaining backend services for a large-scale EV Charging platform serving Charging Point Operators (CPO) and e-Mobility Service Providers (EMSP). Contribute to the designand implementation of cloud-native, event-driven systems with a strong focus on performance, scalability, and reliability in a mission-critical production environment.RESPONSIBILITIESBackendDevelopment & System DesignDevelop and maintain backendservices using Golang for the EV chargingplatform, ensuring high availability and performance.Design and implement RESTfulAPIs and backendcomponents to supportseamless integration with frontend and external systems.Contribute to the design and evolution of microservices and event-driven architectures.Collaborate with frontendengineers, QA, and other backenddevelopers to deliverend-to-end features.Cloud-Native & Distributed SystemsBuild and operate backendservices in a cloud-based environment with containerization and orchestration.Work with message brokers and streaming platforms to support asynchronous, event-drivenworkflows.Optimize database schemas,queries, and data models for scalability and reliability.Participate in troubleshooting and resolving production issues to minimize downtime.Engineering Practices &CollaborationParticipate in code reviews and knowledge sharingto maintain high engineering standards.Follow best practices in coding, testing and monitoringStay up to date with backend and Golang ecosystemtrends to continuously improve system quality.
