We're seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer with strong Golang expertise to join our engineering team and help build the next generation of our vehicle inspection platform. As a Senior Software Engineer at Pave.ai, you'll architect and implement scalable backend services, work with cutting-edge AI/ML integrations, and contribute to a platform that processes millions of vehicle inspections. You'll be instrumental in building robust, high-performance systems that power real-time vehicle analysis for dealerships, fleet operators, insurers, and vehicle marketplaces globally.Key ResponsibilitiesBackend Development & ArchitectureDesign, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using GolangArchitect RESTful APIs and gRPC services for internal and external consumptionBuild event-driven systems using message queues and streaming platformsOptimize application performance, latency, and throughput at scaleImplement robust error handling, logging, and monitoring solutionsTechnical LeadershipLead code reviews and mentor junior developers on Golang best practicesDrive technical decisions and propose architectural improvementsEstablish coding standards and development workflows for the teamCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirementsContribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharingAI/ML IntegrationIntegrate computer vision and ML models into production systemsBuild data pipelines for model training and inferenceImplement APIs for AI model serving and result processingOptimize model deployment for performance and cost efficiencyEnsure reliable handling of image/video processing workflowsInfrastructure & DevOpsImplement CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deploymentContainerize applications using Docker and orchestrate with KubernetesMonitor system health and performance using observability toolsEnsure high availability, scalability, and fault toleranceImplement security best practices and compliance requirementsData ManagementDesign and optimize database schemas (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)Implement caching strategies using Redis or similar solutionsBuild data synchronization and ETL processesEnsure data integrity and implement backup strategiesWork with large-scale image and metadata storage systems
