US ...Target of position: Senior Import Purchasing is leading the company's procurement process which is responsible for buying all the goods and materials the company needs to serve items and offer goods for sale – and to do so in a timely and organized manner for supply chain.1. Responsibilities/ Job Description.A. Main tasksDeveloping and implementing import purchasing strategies.;Managing daily purchasing team activities, coordinate the order issues;Following up purchase orders, controlling purchasing planning and shipping schedulesNegotiating Incoterm with suppliers, managing purchasing cost;Maintaining the supplier database, purchase records, and related documentation;Ensuring that all procured items meet the required lead time, quality standards and specifications;Training new employees in the purchasing process and how to use the purchasing system;Handling suppliers account for ensure the supply chain;B. Extra tasksMake periodic reports and review KPIs Quarterly;Working to improve purchasing systems and processes;
