Senior IPQC Engineer

Position Title: Senior IPQC EngineerDivision/Corporate Function: DSSRevision Date: April 10, 2025Location: VietnamReports To: Quality ManagerSupervises: Quality Engineer; Senior Leader, QualityContacts: All Departments, Intercompany, Suppliers, CustomersPrimary Purpose:Collaborate with supervisors and department managers to oversee in-process quality control, ensuring operations meet quality, productivity, and output goals while driving improvements.Key Duties & Responsibilities:1. Oversee in-process manufacturing quality standards, ensuring the application of relevant standards and instructions.2. Organize and implement inspection, audit, and improvement processes. Evaluate in-process products and issue abnormality reports.3. Train and coach subordinates on product specifications, standards, machine setup, and instrument operations. Prepare limit samples for approval.4. Monitor in-process quality performance, controlling and enhancing defect rates, scrap levels, material usage, and inspection costs. Address quality issues with relevant departments and follow up on improvement actions.5. Participate in quality meetings at the plant and with suppliers/vendors. Engage in defect analysis, abnormality reporting, follow-up actions, customer complaints, sorting, and PFMEA.6. Contribute to trial runs, component transfers, product development, and new product initiatives. Evaluate suppliers and vendors, lead quality improvement projects.7. Manage subordinates and assess their performance, reinforcing company culture in a PBM supervisory role.8. Comprehend personal and sectional goals to contribute effectively to achieving quality and delivery objectives.9. Ensure compliance with rules, procedures, and requirements regarding:• 7S & KAIZEN• Environmental Health Safety• EICC & Social Responsibility• Protection of company assets10. Support and contribute to Molex Total Quality Management (TQM), Six Sigma, ISO, and Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) Management Systems by adhering to stated policies and procedures.11. Perform additional related duties as assigned by management.
