Senior Java Developer

Responsibilities- Assist in developing and maintaining backend systems using Java (Java 8 & 17).- Collaborate with senior developers, frontend developers, and DevOps engineers to implement project requirements.- Contribute to microservice development using the Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Data, etc.- Support CI/CD practices, containerization, and deployment processes with Gitlab CI.- Write clean, well-structured, and testable code under the guidance of senior team members.- Participate in code reviews and team discussions to grow technical skills Requirements - 5+ years of experience in Java backend development. - Working knowledge of Java 8 or 17 and familiarity with Spring Framework or Spring Boot and related Spring modules.- Familiar with CI/CD concepts and tools like Git, Gitlab CI, Docker.- Proficient in SQL, including Oracle DB and PostgreSQL.- Experienced in Maven and Maven lifecycle. - Exposure to Elasticsearch, Redis, or similar technologies is a plus.- Basic understanding of logging and monitoring tools like the ELK stack is a plus.- Good English communication skills and willingness to work in a multicultural environment.- Eagerness to learn and grow in a supportive development team.Nice to Have - Exposure to GIS projects or datasets. - Interest or experience in Linux commands. - Understanding of RESTful APIs and SOAP APIs.
