Senior Merchandiser - Garment Manufacturing

Job Purpose:To be liaison between back office in China and customer with VN production team on sample development, technical package availability to ensure product conformity according to buyer’s standard and follow up the production status ensure no shipment delay. Key Roles and Responsibilities (Key Accountabilities): 1) Monitor daily work of each team member to meet requested deadline from related departments. 2) Communicate effectively with back office in China to verify order information, quality requirement and packing instruction in order to conform with customer’s request. 3) Follow up production issues during production process and be the coordinator to solve the issue immediately to avoid any production interval. 4) Handle initial, inline, final inspection booking with customer’s QA/QC to ensure no shipment delay or claims from customers5) Finalize over/short shipment quantity with related people6) Monthly reporting responsible for certain part of Merchandising team operations.7) Take new tasks assigned by the superiorKey Results/Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):• 100% On time delivery of sample approved to provide techpack and bulk information to production• 100% On time shipment• Transparent communication & flexible negotiation when handle the issue or orders at peak period to get the priority list to meet the end result at the best
