Senior Production Operator (Working In New Zealand)

Working as part of the Production Team and reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for carrying out operational duties associated with the manufacture of products within the Production environment. Using your specialised, technical skill and knowledge you will provide advice and support to all areas of production.This position will first be trained and worked at Kingspan Phu My, Vietnam for 3 months, then transferred to work at Kingspan Group's factory in New Zealand.GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:• Conduct pre-shift start checks and set up various machinery/equipment• Conduct monthly maintenance checks of machinery/equipment.• Use of MHE (Mechanical Handling Equipment) to carry out duties when required.• Use of the SAP system for product bundling, confirmation, and label printing.• Continually review and update existing SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).• Create new SOPs to support new processes, equipment, and machinery.• Actively contribute to line developments and participate in improvement /new product manufacture projects.• Perform all duties in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures for specific product(s) and MHE to a high-quality standard.• Work under the guidance of the Production Supervisor to meet demanding production targets.• Cleaning of machines/equipment to maintain a good standard of general housekeeping to ensure a clean and safe work environment.• Maintain high levels of Health & Safety standards.• Perform any reasonable tasks as instructed by the Production Supervisor.• Ensure that all work equipment, machinery, interchangeable machine parts and are operated in accordance with group health & safety, quality, and environmental policy requirements.• Support site management in ensuring that site systems & procedures are operated across the site fully in accordance with company health & safety policy, quality, and environmental requirements.• Ensure that group health & safety, quality and environmental policies are followed through all activities on site and that appropriate records are maintained.• Ensure compliance with the requirements of all certifications currently in place. o Report compliance concerns, issues, and failures;  o Participate in training as required; • To assist with other adhoc duties as required.
