Senior Project Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer in the power and energy sector. This role supports the CEO in delivering engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) activities for both renewable and conventional energy projects. The role requires close coordination with internal teams, EPC contractors, consultants, and government authorities to ensure successful project execution in terms of time, budget, quality, safety, and environmental compliance.Key Responsibilities• Conduct desktop assessments and site visits to validate technical documents, drawings, and specifications.• Participate in financial modeling and assess the technical aspects of project feasibility.• Manage day-to-day construction activities, including civil, electrical, and mechanical works.• Monitor contractor performance against project schedules and deliverables; identify and mitigate risks.• Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with HSE regulations, technical standards, and contractual specifications.• Support procurement by reviewing vendor documentation, performing FATs/SATs, and overseeing timely delivery of critical components (e.g., boilers, solar panels, turbines, transformers, switchgear).• Monitor and report on relevant legal regulations and policies affecting power development in Vietnam.• Liaise with local authorities, utility providers (e.g., EVN), and stakeholders regarding permitting, grid connection, and environmental compliance.• Maintain accurate technical documentation, including reports, progress updates, RFIs, and variation orders.• Implement and support QA/QC procedures throughout the construction phase.• Prepare reports and presentation materials for headquarters in Korea (in English).
