This isn’t your typical WordPress role. Instead of relying on pre-built themes or third-party plugins, you’ll be part of a small, high-performing team that is designing and developing a custom, high-performance WordPress platform from the ground up. We’re building bespoke solutions that leverage modern WordPress architecture, utilize the full potential of the Gutenberg editor, and integrate seamlessly with our internal systems and services. We’re not necessarily looking for WordPress experts. If you have a strong background in PHP, experience with modern frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, etc.), and a passion for clean architecture, performance, and scalability — we’ll support you to learn WordPress and Gutenberg the right way. This role is ideal for engineers who love solving real product challenges, enjoy full ownership over technical decisions, and are excited to shape the way our users experience Employment Hero on the web.
