Senior Unity/Unreal Developer (Development Lead)

Primary Purpose of the Position:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Unity/Unreal Developer to join our innovative team as a Development Lead, focusing on the development of Digital Twins for building operations and facility management. The ideal candidate will play a key leadership role in crafting real-time 3D (RT3D) solutions that enhance operations across the entire built environment project lifecycle, from planning to operations. This position is perfect for someone passionate about developing digital products, leading collaborative teams, and leveraging technology for sustainability and smart city innovations. Proficiency in the Unity Game Engine is essential. Key Responsibilities: Lead the development and implementation of digital twin models using Unity or Unreal for building operations, facility management, security, and sustainability. Manage and mentor a team of RT3D developers, providing technical guidance and fostering a collaborative environment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to design and deploy innovative RT3D solutions. Integrate GIS and BIM (Building Information Modeling) data with Unity applications to create immersive, interactive environments. Optimize performance and scalability of digital twin models and ensure they meet high-quality standards. Ensure the scalability, reusability, and maintainability of well-documented components and systems. Drive the development of high-quality user experiences with a focus on visual fidelity and detail-oriented implementation. Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in computer graphics, real-time 3D, and digital twin technologies. Ensure alignment of project deliverables with overall product and business goals, managing timelines and milestones effectively. Provide technical expertise during the design phase and throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring best practices in Unity development.
