Service Senior Accountant (Competitive Salary, Strong English)

Position SummaryWe are looking for a dedicated and highly competent Service Senior Accountant to join our Service Accounting team. This role will act as the internal accountant supporting our clients in Singapore and Hong Kong, ensuring the end-to-end accuracy, timeliness, and compliance of their service-related financial operations.What You’ll Do1. Client Accounting Services• Provide full accounting and tax declarations for assigned clients in Singapore and Hong Kong.• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including revenue recognition, accruals, and cost allocations.• Issuing invoices and tracking payments from clients.• Monitor contract terms, billing schedules, and service delivery milestones to ensure proper accounting treatment.• Act as a trusted point of contact for accounting-related queries from clients.2. Month-End Closing & Financial Reporting• Prepare journal entries, bank reconciliations, and reports for service operations in a timely and accurate manner by month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities.• Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, and income reports according to international accounting standards (IFRS).• Analyze P&L fluctuations and service margins; provide meaningful insights to both clients and internal stakeholders.• Ensure accuracy and compliance in general ledger entries and financial documentation.3. Payroll• Payroll administration;• Declare Social Insurance, submit Tax filing, etc.4. Compliance, Documentation & Audit• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting and tax regulations in SG&HK.• Coordinating with external auditors.• Declare tax filings (CIT, GST, WHT) in line with Singapore regulations.• Liaising with authorities.• Maintain well-organized records of contracts, billings, and correspondence.5. Administrative Tasks• Train and guide the Accounting Juniors.• Maintain organized financial records and documentation.• Handle ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Manager and higher supervisors.• Contribute to automation initiatives and ERP enhancements where relevant.
