4+ years of front-end development experience with strong HTML, CSS, JavaScript skills 2+ years of Shopify theme development experience (Shopify 2.0, Liquid, Dawn theme) Open to using AI tools - Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, v0.dev for faster development Proficiency in Tailwind CSS, SCSS, and modern CSS techniques Strong understanding of Shopify's theme architecture, sections, blocks, and settings schema Experience with Git version control and Shopify CLI Eye for design and ability to translate Figma designs to pixel-perfect code Results-oriented mindset - you want to deliver more and earn more Nice to Have: Experience with Shopify Hydrogen / Headless commerce Nice to Have: Knowledge of Shopify APIs (Storefront, Admin, Ajax Cart) Nice to Have: Experience with Alpine.js or Vue.js for interactive components Nice to Have: Understanding of e-commerce UX and conversion optimization Nice to Have: Experience building custom Shopify apps
