 Back-end and DevOps Developer (XR Interactive App) About The RoleWe are a small team, building an emotionally intelligent XR application that blends immersive tech with affective AI. We’re looking for a mid-to-senior Back-end Developer  with some DevOps experience to build robust backend systems and streamline our DevOps practices to support rapid experimentation and high reliability. Duties & Responsibilities Core Development & Integration Participate in the full software development life cycle, from feasibility analysis to implementation and deployment. Design, implement, and maintain microservices. Integrate third-party APIs and internal services in a secure and scalable way. Contribute to the technical design and documentation of new solutions. Troubleshoot system issues and identify opportunities for improvement. DevOps & Infrastructure  CI/CD Pipeline Management: Develop, implement, and maintain continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes. Infrastructure as Code: Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices to manage, provision, and scale production environments efficiently. Containerization & Orchestration: Oversee container orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) to ensure reliable deployment and scaling of microservices. Performance Monitoring: Implement and manage monitoring and logging solutions to optimize system performance and ensure high availability. Familiar with logging and tracking solutions like SigNoz or Grafana. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate DevOps best practices, streamline deployments, and improve operational resilience. IT Duties Infrastructure & Support: Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the proper configuration, maintenance, and security of internal systems and networks. System Troubleshooting: Provide support for hardware and software issues affecting development and production environments. Compliance & Security: Ensure adherence to IT policies and security guidelines across server operations and data management. Monitoring & Maintenance: Assist in the monitoring of system health, coordinating with IT support to minimize downtime.
