Job descriptionMiTek’s Component Manufacturing division is seeking a dynamic and passionate Software Engineer to help pioneer industry changing solutions for the residential construction industry. This position will be part of a team working on a 3D BIM solution for single or multi-family modeling, design, and estimating. Be part of a high-performing and collaborative team that is focused on innovation and engaging MiTek customers, while creating powerful software.ResponsibilitiesCode, enhance, test, and debug 3D CAD/Engineering desktop software using C#, SQL Server, and the .NET Framework.Contribute to large, breakthrough enhancements in our CAD/BIM platform. Efforts require refactoring existing logic, feasibility analysis, and creating new enhancements.Collaborate with business analysts, testing, and other development teams to ensure solutions are efficient, consistent, and fulfill business needs.Perform design and analysis on efforts before starting development.Author technical documents for software architecture or design as required.Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and collaborative requirements reviews.Apply generally accepted programming standards and techniques to ensure efficient performance and data manipulation.Attendance during regular work hours and overtime as required.Collaborate with multiple global teams to contribute to a large-scale project.
