Software Engineer

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:- With 2-3 years of relevant work experience.- You have a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Web development.- Knowledge of one or more of these programming languages.- Knowledge and interest in automation products are a plus. KEY COMPETENCIES:Technical understandings and skills:- Have a certain basis in software development.- Being able to understand both the mechanical and electrical domains.- Have analytical skills.- Being able to identify issues and think mainly in function blocks.Problem solving:- Identifies critical issues with ease.- Exhibits confidence and an extensive knowledge of emerging industry practices when solving business problems. - You consult with colleagues to develop from definition phase until delivery of software. - You work (independently and in Group) on software module programming and testing. - You act as an internal source of information for all software technical issues about the software modules assigned to you. - You follow developments and trends in software and automation in shipbuilding.Communication skills:- Proficient spoken and written English skills- Listens to others and accepts input from stakeholders (bussiness analyst or bussiness users)- Clearly articulate ideas and thoughts verbally.- Accurately prepares written business correspondence that is coherent, grammatically correct, effective and professionalOrganization:- Facilitates effective team interaction.- Acknowledges and appreciates each team member's contributions
