The Position:MetaDefender Drive’s technology is a fusion of a hardened USB platform, a customized secure Linux scanning environment, and multi-layer OPSWAT threat detection engines, allowing it to deeply inspect a system before it joins a network, with zero reliance on the system’s own OS. We’re looking for an experienced and inspiring Software Engineering Manager (C++ background) to lead a talented, high-energy team in the fast-growing cybersecurity sector. You’ll guide engineers working on cutting-edge solutions to analyze and secure endpoint devices and servers, while mentoring them to reach their full potential. In this role, you’ll collaborate with product and senior management in the US, drive the growth of one of our fastest-selling products, and work across a wide tech spectrum such as Windows & Linux system development, containers & orchestration, modern mobile UI/UX, APIs, and enterprise network integration. If you’re ready to combine your technical expertise, leadership skills, and passion for innovation, we’d love to meet you.What You Will Be Doing:Provide strong leadership and guidance to a team of talented system and front-end engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.Collaborate with product management and senior management teams in the US to align strategies, set priorities, and drive product development efforts.Oversee and manage the design, implementation, and maintenance of cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions across a range of technologies and platforms.Ensure the delivery of high-quality, secure, and scalable solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations.Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the team's skillset remains competitive and relevant.Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, both internally and externally, to ensure the successful delivery of projects.Continuously monitor and analyze product performance, driving improvements to maintain our position as a market leader.Perform and/or coordinate technology security assessments.Outline details required to develop Scopes of Work.Communicate issues and resolve escalations with customer-facing teams like Support and Sales.Drive technology roadmaps, manage initiatives, and manage project lifecycles.Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the engineering team.

What We Need From You:Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Cyber Security, or a related field.5 years of experience as a tech lead or hands-on manager of a team of 5 developers or more.Good knowledge with C++, Linux and Windows OSExperience with System Application; Good understand of system design, SDLC.Knowledge of network, system engineering is a plus point.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, excelling at simplifying design and solutions.Passion for success through others, self-motivating and motivator for the team.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior management.Experience collaborating with engineering teams in multiple countries.Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex issues to a range of audiences.Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment to support the design, development, testing, documentation, and support of customers.Good organization, coordination, and project management skills.Good coding and debugging skills.Must be self-motivatedIt Would Be Nice If You Had:Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern UI frameworks like React and Electron.Experience leading Scrum teams.Experience working with global teams and managing remote team members.Experience with microservice structures and REST APIs.Experience with Git, BitBucket, Jira, Confluence, TeamCity.Reasonable understanding of OWASP Top 10, application vulnerabilities and exploitations.Intermediate English speaking and writing level.Experience with metrics and reporting tools.Experience with collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
