Sourcing Engineer

What you will be responsible for:• Development and introduction of new suppliers and new materials, making comparisons across multiple dimensions such as price, payment terms, delivery cycle, and quality to bring in high-quality suppliers and meet material supply needs.• Keep track of market price fluctuations of key materials, understand market trends, analyze the data, and control costs accordingly.• Organize the evaluation of qualified suppliers in terms of price, quality, and delivery time, implement a tiered supplier management system, continuously optimize resources, and ensure a healthy supplier database.• Strictly issue purchase orders (PO) based on PR requirements and order allocation results, monitor material lead times in a timely manner, and ensure on-time, quality, and quantity delivery to support smooth production.• Assist in the material sampling process for R&D teams and continuously optimize and update the preferred components library, manage material approvals, and handle the co-signing and archiving of approval documents.• Address material quality issues and delivery time exceptions effectively.
