Clean, wash and store crockery, pots and glassware.
Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment and work areas, including ovens, stovetops, floors and ceilings.
Sweep and mop floors at appropriate intervals to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
Supervise and assist Stewards in order to make clean up more efficient.
Interact with department and company team members, management, and contractors professionally and positively.
Attend department and inter department meetings and share relevant information.
Provide professional, efficient and courteous back of house services to support business operations.
Manage inventory of all kitchen equipment, glassware, flatware, cutlery, cooking utensils and event equipment, including storage, purchasing, supply, tracking and stock take.
Oversee and maintain Food and Beverage storage/preparation/cooking areas and equipment, ensuring that they are kept at the highest level of sanitation and quality.
Conduct daily inspections to ensure conformance with health and fire department regulations.
Monitor/Operate floor cleaning equipment, and to maintain resilient floor surfaces.
Create a work environment that promotes teamwork, recognition, mutual respect and employee satisfaction.
Monitor team member’s manners and grooming according to company standards.
Review and innovate work processes and systems to maximize productivity and improve quality.
Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools, including the dish washing machine, hand wash stations pot scrubbing station, and trash compactor.
Make routine inspections of all equipment ensuring that all equipment is in proper mechanical working order.
Adhere to the Company policies and procedures and comply with the Code of Conduct
Follow health and safety standards and strive for constant improvement to avoid health and injury hazards.
Practice and observe safety rules and regulations and encourage others to do the same.
Promote a work environment where employees feel valued, appreciated and involved.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Yêu Cầu Công Việc
Minimum of 2-3 years stewarding experience in a sizable and international hotel/casino.
Minimum 1 years of supervisory experience.
Knowledge of Health & Safety, Food Safety Standards and Chemical handling regulations.
Ability to operate Microsoft Windows & Office software.
Passionate about Food & Beverage and Health & Safety.
Positive attitude, hardworking, responsible and organized.
Good leadership, management and supervisory abilities.
Team player who responds quickly to demands and thrives in a high-pressure work environment.
Able to work on shifts and be flexible regarding work schedules according to business demand.
Must be able to stand, walk, and move through all areas of the Food and Beverage department.
Must be able to multi task.
College Diploma or equivalent working experience.
Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin to deal with internal staff from Asian and International countries.
