- Oversees and administers the operations of a store.
- Observing hotel rules and regulations.
- Endeavoring to show goodwill and good responsibility over working and creating good atmosphere with fellow workers
- Receives, identifies and verifies merchandise.
- Provides information to and assists staff issuing equipment and material promptly for operation and maintenance work
- Order and monitor fuels, lubricants, tools, consumable materials
- Maintain clean and tidy Engineering stores
- Prepares purchase requisitions for the replacement of stock. Contact suppliers or searches catalogues to determine price and additional details concerning new items and make sure that there is enough spare parts for operation & maintenance works.
- Gather and maintain files appropriately keep track of procurement, such as invoices, PR/PO numbers, receiving date, shipping date.
- Prepare inventory report and communicate with divisions in order to receive or transmit information.
- Ensure that appropriate files are maintained and resources kept for future reference
- Complete daily reports outlining work undertaken for the day
- Taking good care of all tools /materials/machines to always be in good working condition. Proceed with repair or replacement if needed
- Notifying his/her immediate manager any problems happen to material / tools / machinery use.
- Assisting his/her fellow workers if necessary.
- Efficient and effective use of recycling methods
- Perform any other duties which may be assigned by the management from time to time.
- Human Resources Responsibilities
- Become familiar with the Regent Phu Quoc Resort Collective Labor Agreement and follow the rules of the agreement.
- Schedule and control staff work assignment on a daily basis ensure productivity targets are met.
- Follow up all issues and request from staff and communicate progress on these issues.
- Lead by example.
- Introduce new ideas, methods, procedures and initiatives to staff by actively persuading, encouraging and successfully overcoming any problem or obstacles in the way.
- Monitor , observe staff performance and giving clear feedback about directions and encouragement.
- Train staff supervised to carry out their duties effectively & efficient
- Occupational Health and Safety Responsibilities
- Demonstrate Awareness of OH&S policies and procedures and ensure all procedures are conducted safely and within OH&S guidelines.
- Be aware of duty of care and adhere to occupational, health and safety legislation, policies and procedures.
- Be familiar with property, first aid and fire and emergency procedures and operate equipment safely and sensibly.
- Initiate action to correct a hazardous situation and notify supervisors of potential dangers.
- Log security incidents and accidents in accordance with resort requirements.
