System Engineer (Linux/VMware) Banking Infrastructure

Deploy, operate, and maintain core IT infrastructure supporting banking services, including physical/virtual servers (VM), SAN storage systems, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), and VMware vSphere environments (ESXi, vCenter). Ensure system stability, performance, and security for business-critical services with 24/7 availability requirements. Troubleshoot and resolve complex incidents related to Linux operating systems, virtualization platforms, and related infrastructure. Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash or Python to streamline operational tasks and improve efficiency. Implement and manage Red Hat technologies such as Ansible, OpenShift, and others to support IT operations automation and scalability. Design infrastructure solutions for banking applications in compliance with internal IT standards, audit requirements, and regulatory policies. Collaborate with application, network, and security teams to deliver robust, compliant, and secure infrastructure. Monitor system health, follow change control processes, and provide regular technical documentation, reports, and updates to management. Support disaster recovery (DR) planning, testing, and execution, ensuring data protection and service continuity.
